WORKGROUP LEADERS

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ADEPT Workgroup leaders will work closely with participants on a weekly basis, facilitating group tutorials that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Leaders will manage small groups of participants (all experienced healthcare professionals), guiding discussions, exercises, and discussing case studies to ensure effective understanding and application of pre-recorded lecture material. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

WEEKLY GROUP FACILITATION

– Lead dynamic, reflective discussions to translate theoretical content into clinical practice.

– Engage participants in case studies, and practical exercises.

– Ensure participants develop a deep understanding of psychedelic-assisted therapy techniques.

GROUP DYNAMICS & LEADERSHIP

– Manage diverse groups of experienced professionals, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

– Handle complex group dynamics, including conflict resolution and ensuring equal participation.

– Provide personalized feedback and support to participants as needed.

CONTINUOUS ENGAGEMENT

– Maintain open lines of communication with participants, offering guidance and clarification on course content.

– Work with the ADEPT team to ensure that workgroups align with the broader curriculum and goals of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Advanced degree (Master’s or doctoral-level qualification) in psychotherapy, clinical psychology, or other related fields.

– Experience leading professional groups or working in educational settings with seasoned professionals.

– Background and work experience in education.

– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to break down complex concepts into accessible discussions.

PREFERRED SKILLS

– Deep understanding of psychedelic-assisted therapy techniques and ethical considerations.

– Background in educational roles, with experience designing and delivering training programs for professionals.

– In-depth knowledge of the educational materials offered in ADEPT.

– Experience facilitating therapeutic sessions or educational programs.

–  Familiarity with adult learning principles and the ability to engage experienced professionals in reflective practice.

Must be elgible to work in the Netherlands.
