Founded in 2007, the OPEN Foundation is the leading nonprofit organisation in the Netherlands and Europe dedicated to advancing psychedelic science and therapies. Following the success of ICPR 2024 — Europe’s leading Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research — we are looking for a dedicated ICPR Video Editor & Media Coordinator Volunteer to help share this valuable content with the world.

About the role
As our ICPR Video Editor & Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in making the knowledge shared at ICPR 2024 accessible to a global audience. You will edit, schedule, and publish 92 recorded talks from the conference across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram. This includes creating engaging thumbnails, descriptions, and social media posts. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Communications to ensure everything is live by the next ICPR June 2026.
This part-time volunteer role (flexible hours) is a unique opportunity to contribute to advancing psychedelic science and gain experience in digital media, content distribution, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and prepare 92 video recordings from ICPR 2024 for online publication.
Create compelling thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and tags for YouTube.
Schedule and publish videos consistently across YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Draft engaging social media posts to promote each video.
Ensure alignment with OPEN’s tone of voice and visual identity.
Collaborate on a content calendar to meet the June 2026 deadline.
Who are we looking for?
Required Qualifications:
Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva etc.).
Strong understanding of YouTube and social media best practices.
Ability to design eye-catching thumbnails and write engaging descriptions.
Knowledge of the psychedelic field (science, therapy, culture, and policy).
Ideally, you attended ICPR 2024 or are familiar with the conference’s themes.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage long-term projects independently.
