Currently, there is a lack of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) using ketamine or esketamine for TRD. In countries like Germany, both substances are predominantly administered as purely medical interventions, often neglecting the therapeutic potential offered by increased neuroplasticity and psychedelic effects. In this Journal Club session, Lisa-Maria will present and discuss her study design and the methodological framework for a feasibility RCT, of a study still yet to be published. Join the conversation and deepen your understanding of the psychedelic field!
Journal Club is an online gathering on Zoom, happening every first Tuesday of each month @8PM CET, where a participant can either present a paper/article of their interest (simply get in touch with us at membership@open-foundation.org if you’d want to give it a go), or sit back and enjoy researchers presenting their own work, followed by a Q&A. For a more thorough description, check this post, and for a more interactive and direct exchange, you’re invited to our Signal group chat once you are a member.
