Dr. Houman Farzin is a physician focusing on the applied sciences of psychedelic-assisted therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle modification for trauma, existential distress due to life-threatening illness, and overall well-being. His practice deals with combining emerging treatments and digital health technologies with mindfulness, music, and psychedelic medicine to improve quality of life, promote healing, and alleviate human suffering at all stages of life. He is an attending physician in the Division of Palliative Care of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. He is a lecturer at McGill University Medical School, where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency training. His involvement with McGill Programs in Whole Person Care includes teaching Mindful Medical Practice to second-year medical students.

Lou Lucas grew up in the aftermath of the war on drugs. She was always curious about psychedelics but too scared to try them. She took some courses in college that touched on shamanic and ceremonial use of plant medicine and the psychedelic substances used in psychiatry in the 50s and 60s and was motivated to learn holotropic breath work and other means of expanding consciousness. Finally, Lucas was in the right place at the right time in 2011. She was living in Annapolis, Maryland when Hopkins announced their cancer trial. The rest is history. Lucas got to know the team there, and when she moved back to Nebraska and in a position to start some of her own research, they lent their support to kickstart the work, so now we have The Heartland Palliadelic Research Center the middle of the United States.

Dr. Pamela Kryskow is a medical doctor and the medical lead of the Non Profit Roots To Thrive Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Programs that treats people with PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use challenges and with end of life distress. She is a founding board member of the Psychedelic Association of Canada and the medical chair of the Vancouver Island University Post Graduate Certificate in Psychedelic Medicine assisted Therapy. Ongoing research includes psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine, microdosing, front line health care workers and first responders mental wellness.
 Prior to studying medicine she was a City of Coquitlam Firefighter for 8 years and provincial forestry firefighter for 4 seasons. 

In real life she loves hiking in the forest, ocean kayaking, growing kale and daydreaming in the hammock. Her heritage includes Polish, Ukrainian, and German. 

She currently resides in the traditional unceded territory of the Klahoose First Nations.
