Join us for an enchanting mushroom-focused walk through the Amsterdamse Boos, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the magical world of fungi! Guided by the hosts Mareille and Tosca from Marosca, they will take us on an exploration path to see the rich diversity of mushrooms and learn about the fascinating Fungal Queendom. Along the way, we’ll talk about the mushrooms we encounter, from the common to the mysterious, sharing insights into their ecological roles and unique features.

While the beauty of these fungi may tempt us, it’s important to remember that foraging is not permitted in the Netherlands. We’ll discuss the significance of respecting this regulation and how allowing nature to thrive undisturbed contributes to a balanced ecosystem. This walk comes as an opportunity to deepen your appreciation of the natural world while learning about mushrooms and their vital place in our environment, as well as connecting with other mushroom enthusiasts.
This special mushroom-focused walk is for anyone curious about these treasures of autumn.

What is included?
  • Information about the mushrooms we find along the way
  • Tea
  • Fungal finger food

Price for OPEN members is €28, non-members €35.

About the hosts

Tosca and Mareille are true “Swamp Ambassadors. Together they form Marosca, an Amsterdam-based platform. They support people to integrate mushrooms into their lives. There are many ways to walk the path of the mushroom, gastronomically, scientifically, medicinally and spiritually. They prefer to admire “the fungal queendom” in nature.
