Founded in 2007, the OPEN Foundation is the leading nonprofit organisation in the Netherlands and Europe dedicated to advancing psychedelic science and therapies. OPEN is looking for a dedicated Newsletter Content Editor and Manager to join our team. Are you passionate about the latest interdisciplinary intricacies of the field of psychedelic science and therapy? And do you have a great ability to curate, write and communicate? If yes, we’d LOVE to hear from you!
About the role
As our Newsletter Content Editor and Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to deliver an engaging, high-quality and well-edited newsletter every two weeks. This part time role (5-10hr per week) is a unique opportunity to contribute to advancing knowledge and dialogue in the psychedelic space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and manage the OPEN Foundation’s bi-weekly newsletter.
- Collaborate with speakers from online events, the OPEN Foundation & ICPR network, and beyond to curate compelling content.
- Source and propose newsletter topics that resonate with our community.
Who are we looking for?
Required Qualifications:
- Updated interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of psychedelics (science, therapy, culture, and policy).
- Strong writing, communication and editorial skills.
- Digital-savviness with experience working on platforms like MailerLite.
- Ability to organize and collaborate on project management software like Coda
- Initiative to reach out and collaborate with external contributors.
