EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP CO-FACILITATOR

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The Experiential Practicum Facilitator will support ADEPT’s experiential sessions by providing guidance and assistance to participants. Working closely with, and under the guidance of, the Lead Experiential Facilitator, the facilitator will help ensure that all sessions are conducted safely, compassionately, and in alignment with ADEPT’s core teachings and principles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

PRE-PRACTICUM PLANNING

– Coordinate with the Lead Experiential Facilitator to ensure participant preparation and adherence to safety protocols.

– Co-lead individual and group preparatory sessions with participants prior to experiential practicums, fostering readiness and clarity for the sessions.

FACILITATION

– Support individual and group experiential sessions.

– Provide therapeutic presence, assisting participants through challenging or intense experiences.

– Assist with integrating insights immediately post-session, offering grounding techniques and emotional processing.

POST-PRACTICUM

– Participate in debrief sessions, providing feedback on session dynamics and participant progress.

– Assist participants in integrating insights gained from the experiential sessions into their personal and professional development.

– Contribute to the creation of post-practicum reports, documenting outcomes, observations, and recommendations for future improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related fields. 

– Proven track record of facilitating therapeutic or experiential sessions involving altered states of consciousness, preferably induced by psychedelic compounds.

– Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to recognize and address individual needs effectively during altered states of consciousness.

PREFERRED SKILLS

– Experience in mindfulness and/or somatic practices.

– Ability to hold space for intense emotional experiences with compassion and stability.

– Comfortable working in fast-paced and emotionally dynamic environments.

– Training in trauma-informed care, somatic practices, or psychedelic integration is preferred.


CONTACT-BASED ROLE

This is a contract position specifically for in-person experiential sessions.

– The Experiential Co-facilitator will be actively engaged and fully aligned with the scheduled in-person experiential sessions, ensuring seamless support and collaboration throughout the practicum.

TIME COMMITMENT

Co-facilitators will support a minimum of two in-person experiential practicums per cohort. Each cohort includes:

– Two experiential practicums, each lasting 5 days.

– One experiential practicum, lasting 3 days.

In addition to the practicum days, co-facilitators are expected to allocate additional time for pre-practicum preparation, coordination, and post-practicum debriefing with the ADEPT team. This role requires full presence and engagement during all scheduled experiential sessions, with a modest additional time commitment for preparation and follow-up activities.

COMPENSATION

– EUR 2,500 for a 5-day experiential practicum.

– EUR 1,500 for a 3-day experiential practicum.

TIMELINE FOR RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING

Start date: First experiential January 2026.

Interviews: Scheduled to begin June 2025.

Training period: Begins August 2025 (mandatory participation in ADEPT training modules and preparation sessions).

EXPECTED HOURS

Experiential practicums last 3 to 5 full days.

Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
