Online community meet-up with leor roseman
Leor Roseman, PhD (Senior Lecturer & Psychedelics Researcher, University of Exeter)
Wednesday 23 April, 2025 8PM CEST (6PM GMT, 2PM ET, 11AM PT)
Online via Zoom
In the spring of 2022, three groups of Palestinians and Israelis were invited to participate in an ayahuasca peacebuilding program. The invitation was to explore the ceremonial and healing space of ayahuasca through a collective intention: to ground the transformative spiritual practice in the political reality of conflict and oppression; to heal collective trauma and liberate from rigid narratives and ethos; to invite insights and transform them into actions of co-resistance; to create a community of solidarity and care; and to celebrate life and good music together.
Now, the project continues in the form of Ripples – a non-profit dedicated to the continuation and Expansion of this work. Leor will share some results from previous pilot study, and future plans with Ripples.
This online event will be an intimate discussion with OPEN community members. To foster meaningful dialogue, this event is intentionally limited to 20 participants, allowing everyone the opportunity to engage directly with Leor and contribute to the discussion. We value your input and engagement in this discussion, and we appreciate your openness, sensitivity, and respect for the complexity of this topic. Conversations around psychedelics, healing, and conflict can evoke deep emotions and diverse perspectives. We invite you to approach this discussion with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to listen.
