Psychedelic experiences can bring people into direct contact with some of life’s deepest questions: questions of meaning, identity, connection, suffering, and what may lie beyond death. For those facing serious illness or the end of life, these questions often take on a particular urgency.

This interactive session explores the inner world of individuals facing terminal or life-threatening illness, and the unique terrain it creates for psychedelic work. Through discussion and reflection, we’ll consider how the proximity of mortality shapes the journey, what surfaces, what shifts, and what becomes possible when time feels finite, and what this asks of us as facilitators: the presence, humility, and attunement required to guide well in this context.
