Online Events Coordinator
What will you be doing?
The Online Events Coordinator will plan, organize, and execute online events along together with the programming team at OPEN Foundation. Responsibilities include developing themes, maintaining communication with speakers and planning events according to the event calendar. Knowledge in psychedelic science and therapy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to engage our target audience are essential. Event moderation skills are a plus.
KEY Responsibilities
- Program development: Work with our programming team to curate a diverse range of engaging content and activities that cater to the interests and needs of the target audience. Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop event concepts, topics, and objectives for online events. Identify suitable speakers, maintain communication with speakers, and manage all logistical aspects of the events.
- Post-event Evaluation: Collect feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess the success of each event. Analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for future events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning and organisation, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge or experience in psychedelic science and therapy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with speakers, vendors, and participants.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and engaging programmes
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to details and a commitment to delivering high-quality events

You have vast knowledge of the psychedelic science and therapy field in Europe or outside and follow the latest and proven trends. You can manage the planning of several events at once and are eager to brainstorm on future events. You’re tech-savy and love to use events as a tool to enhance people’s understanding of psychedelics. You’re fast at what you do and deploy a systemic approach that minimizes future work because you feel a sense of accountability and responsibility for your work.

Founded in 2007, the OPEN Foundation is the leading nonprofit organisation in the Netherlands and Europe dedicated to advancing the knowledge and understanding of psychedelics through research.
